The Saint Andrew’s Society of Washington, DC’s Scholarships Program is widely recognized as the pre-eminent Scottish-American scholarships program in existence.  The annual awarding of substantial grants to Scottish and American scholars in need of financial support is the Society’s primary philanthropic pursuit, and the keystone of our efforts to meet the charitable and educational purposes of our ancient charter and to live into our motto “Relieve the Distressed.”
